The Guntai was the name of a military organization that the Shofixti had in there proverbial arsenal. The Guntai had command over all of the Shofixti Scout ships, Just like Star Comand had control over the Earthling crusiers and the Syreen Space Patrol had control over the Syreen Penatrator ships.
History[]
Not much is known about when this organization was founded. It is known that the Guntai was a branch of the Kishi-Bojin shogunate. It is known that the Kishi-Bojin Shogunate was founded around the Bi-centennial of the Earth geophysical year (1957 to Jan 1st 1960). so this places this event around the 2157 to 2160 if you get the extension other wise 2159 time period. Thus that would also mean that the recent Shofixti Guntai could also get confused with a more ancient Guntai that existed at some point prior to Zex and Dax. in the 2110 to 2134 time period. to this day in 2169 the planet that Zex and Dax were posted at contains abundant wild life which will be most useful when dealing with the Melnorme.
